Calisthenics
What is calisthenics?

Definition
Train with your own body
Calisthenics is a training discipline based on using bodyweight as resistance to develop strength, endurance, flexibility, coordination, balance, and focus.
Also known as bodyweight training or street workout, it centres on functional and natural movements such as push-ups, pull-ups, squats, and planks.
Calisthenics requires no additional equipment and can be done anywhere, making it an accessible option for many people. As well as improving your physical health, the practice promotes body and mental control, enhancing the quality of life of those who practise it.

Who can practise calisthenics?
Calisthenics can be adapted to all fitness levels.
Whether you are an older adult, a complete beginner, or an experienced athlete, calisthenics offers the flexibility to adjust exercises to your individual capacity.
From simple movements like getting up from a chair or carrying bags, to push-ups and pull-ups, and then progressing to more challenging skills like handstands or the human flag.
Whatever your skill level, calisthenics gives you the opportunity to surpass yourself and reach new achievements — always with the guidance of a qualified professional recommended.
